MBAISE USA BOSTON CONVENTION 2017

This year’s convention is unique. It is the 10th annual convention of Mbaise USA. It also will follow a very successful convention held in Austin Texas over the 4th of July weekend last year. In Austin, our guests were mesmerized by a rich array of events and activities, including staple events like the Town Hall, Welcome Reception and Gala Night. However, the Austin convention introduced the now famous dual of Ntozu Oke and The Leadership Forum Panel session. Boston will showcase new and improved versions of these very popular programs among others.
Besides, after a decade of conventions, one would expect a near perfect outing. It is for these reasons that we are redoubling our efforts. It hasn’t been easy. Over the years our population and attendance had increased considerably. In Austin, the number of attendees overwhelmed the hotel, but this year we have taken measures to ameliorate the situation. We have scheduled out popular events to a hall outside the main hotel to ensure a more conducive environment and far reaching entertainment.
We have put other measures in place to ensure a smooth convention. Because we will be operating from multiple different hotels, shuttle buses will be made available to make easy flow of the activities and events in both the hotels and at the hall in Mosley’s on The Charles. Folks planning to come are expected to make their reservations in good time. The three hotels are close to each other. The command center hotel is the Holiday Inn and a few of the events will take place there. We are working on getting coupons that will guarantee a discount for those who would like to buy food. Some of the hotels will give free breakfast with the exception of the command center hotel.
The Boston area is different from others. They are strict with closure time for all events and so we are called to make efforts to start all events in good time. The scheduled events are as follows:
Wednesday – Arrival of Guests, Leadership Forum Panel preparation, Meet and Greet
