Mbaise Leadership Forum (MLF), a think-tank collaborates
with Mbaise Global Foundation and Mbaise USA to organize the annual Global Summit to hatch ideas and inspire individuals. or groups to hopefully take steps towards the development of Mbaise. The summit is a convergence of Mbaise sons and daughters from all over the world to generate ideas as well as harness and mobilize our human resources for the greater good of our homeland. It is about unleashing new ideas and strategies and updating existing ones to the extent that one or more individuals/groups may be encouraged to take a project/service/business/development to our homeland. One highlight of the 2023 Summit is to present three MGF sponsored projects and two others sponsored by member organizations, create more awareness for these projects and mobilize support to execute them. These are; Chekwamba Security Company, Microfinance Bank, and Grow MEE- Grow Mbaise Entrepreneurs Everywhere (MGF); Medville Healthcare Facility (Mbaise USA); and Mbaise University (Mbaise People’s Congress). |
Mbaise Leadership Forum
Mbaise Leadership Forum (MLF), a think-tank to generate ideas for the development of Mbaise, was established in 2016 by Mbaise USA during her annual convention in Austin Texas, USA. Based on the recommendations of various committees and expert presentations MLF developed the Mbaise Strategic Development Masterplan (Master Plan) which it published in 2019.
As a think-tank MLF is a platform for Mbaise sons and daughters from all over the world to generate ideas as well as harness and mobilize our human resources for the greater good of our homeland.
To fulfil its purpose the leadership of Mbaise USA and MLF agreed that MLF shall be operationally independent while maintaining their strategic partnership in the interest of Mbaise. Hence it was agreed that the Moderator of MLF shall not be a member of any Mbaise USA affiliate chapter.
Evidence of the strong partnership between Mbaise USA and MLF is the fact that through the years Mbaise USA has generously provided MLF with resources (e.g. meeting rooms, discounted hotel rates, food and drinks) to hold annual MLF’s Global Summits to hatch ideas and inspire individuals or groups to hopefully take practical steps towards the development of Mbaise. On its part, MLF provides a wide, global reach given that members of MLF live and work in all parts of the world.
To implement the Master Plan, Mbaise USA and MLF set up Mbaise Global Foundation (MGF) in 2020 as a nonprofit entity and a vehicle to generate and manage funds for the execution of MGF sponsored projects for Mbaise development. Membership of MGF consists of Mbaise organizations which share the purpose.
of the Foundation and are willing to collaborate with like-minded others. Currently there are eleven
members organizations in MGF.
MGF has a Board of Directors drawn from the five clans of Mbaise, with Dr. Sylvester Ugoh as the Chairman and Mr. Frank Nneji, OON as the Deputy Chairman. The day-to-day running of the Foundation is the responsibility of the Executive Council led by the Executive Director.
